Adam Reynolds, is an Australian-born professional rugby league footballer, a halfback and team captain for the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League.
Adam Reynolds, 32, has played for multiple clubs throughout his playing career and has taken part in numerous of the sports’ independent competitions, such as State of Origin and NRL All Stars, among others.

Adam Reynolds Early Life
Reynolds was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on 10 July 1990. He graduated from Matraville Sports High School and was part of the 2007 team that won the NRL Schoolboy Cup 32–10 against Patrician Brothers’ College Blacktown. Reynolds was recognized as the “most outstanding player in the competition” and awarded the Peter Sterling Medal.
While Nathan Merritt is his all-time favorite South Sydney player, he also enjoyed playing with Andrew Johns, Matthew Johns, and Darren Lockyer as a youngster.
Career
Reynolds played his junior rugby league for a host teams including, St. Peters JRLFC, La Perouse Panthers, Alexandria Rovers, and Kensington United. He participated in 2007 for the New South Wales under-17s team, and in 2009 he advanced to the Rabbitohs’ under-20s.
Reynolds joined the South Sydney NRL team in 2012 following the well-publicized departure of Chris Sandow. In the South Sydney Rabbitohs’ 24-20 last-minute defeat to the Sydney Roosters at ANZ Stadium, he made his NRL debut at halfback for the team. He kicked four goals in the game.
Reynolds was named the new captain of South Sydney on February 25, 2020. “I grew up across the street from Redfern Oval in apartments on Elizabeth Street and always wanted to play for Souths, so to have the chance to captain the team is amazing,” Reynolds said in a statement to the media.
Reynolds joined Brisbane Broncos and was named captain of his new team on January 31, 2022, becoming the 12th full-time men’s captain of the Broncos in history. Reynolds made his club debut for Brisbane in a 16-10 victory against Canterbury at Stadium Australia during Round 2 of the 2022 NRL season.
