NVTI Courses And Their Requirements In Ghana

In the present job market in Ghana and many other nations across the world, NVTI courses are in high demand. The course offers online job training and educates students with the skills that are most in-demand in the workplace, giving them a competitive advantage.  NVTI courses might be beneficial to those who want to start a profession, further their education, or improve their current jobs.

NVTI was established in November 1986 with the sole aim of equipping the youths with relevant skills training.

The Institute conducts the following training programmes:
a) Centre Training
b) Informal Apprenticeship
c)Instructor and Master Craftsman Training

Entry Requirements to NVTI Centres

Persons with the following qualifications are normally eligible for admission to the centers:

  • BECE Certificate with passes in Mathematics, General Studies and English
  • Holders of Middle School Leaving Certificate
  • Sponsored apprentices with basic educational background
  • Evidence of at least 2 years Secondary School or SHS education

6.Driver Instructors CourseDriving Instructors and the general public
7.Safety and Security CourseSecurity Officers of organizations and public individuals
8.Instructional Techniques CourseInstructors, Master Crafts persons etc.
9.Book Keeping CourseJunior Store Keepers of Industries and Organisations and interested individuals
10.Examiners & potential Examiners CourseExaminers, Instructors and master Craftsmen
11.Technology Upgrading Course (Motor Vehicle Mechanics and Electrical Installation – Trade Tests after course)Master Craftsmen with 5 years experience
12.Skills Upgrading Course (Catering, Dressmaking, Electrical, Electronics, Draughtsmanship etc)Master Craftsman Holders of NVTI Grade One/GES Advance Level Certificate

    I AM A TRAINED ELECTRICIAN BUT DO NOT HAVE CERTIFICATE EXCEPT TESTIMONIAL AND ALSO HAD A LITTLE EDUCATION BUT DID’T COMPLETE SO I DON’T HAVE B.E.C.E CERTIFICATE. I HAVE WORK WITH ALOT OF COMPANIES LIKE, BXC GHANA LIMITED, KHESBY ENGENERING ETC. I WANT TO APPLY FOR THE NVTI TO GET A BETTER CERTIFICATE SO WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW BECAUSE OF YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
